Bicolour Anthias

Snapshot: Males rock a bold violet glow with a streak of yellow racing down the back into the tail, while the females shimmer in soft lavender with sunny yellow highlights.
 
Other tidbits: Can grow up to 13cm or so. Distributed throughout the East Indian Ocean, West Indian Ocean, Australia, Indonesia, Central/West Pacific. These are one of the hardier anthias species.
 
Bare bones must know: Fish-only system, or reef aquarium.
