Black Back Butterflyfish

Other tidbits: Can grow up to 18cm or so. Distributed throughout the East Indian Ocean, West Indian Ocean, Australia, The Red Sea, Indonesia, Central/West Pacific.
Bare bones must know: Live-rock fish-only system. Stable, top-notch water quality.
Aquarium set-up: They relish in the refuge of live rock caves and crevices for both shelter and scavenging. A constant flow of well-oxygenated water is vital for their thriving health. Maintain an aquatic utopia by nailing the basics: rock-solid water quality with top-notch filtration and routine partial water changes.
Feeding: Keep the butterflyfish menu diverse by serving up frozen or live treats like brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and chopped seafood. Don't forget top-notch marine flakes or pellets for balanced nutrition.
