Blue Spot Butterflyfish

Snapshot: Also known as the Blue Blotch Butterflyfish. This sunshine-yellow butterflyfish rocks a bold blue streak along its upper side, and a cheeky black spot on the caudal peduncle. 
 
Other tidbits: Can grow up to 15cm or so. Distributed throughout the East Indian Ocean, West Indian Ocean, Australia, Japan, The Red Sea, Indonesia, East Pacific, Central/West Pacific Ocean.
 
Bare bones must know: Live-rock fish-only system, or reef system with care. Well established and mater aquariums only. Stable, top-notch water quality.
