Other tidbits: Can grow up to 12cm or so. Distributed throughout the East and West Indian Oceans, Australia, Indonesia, East Pacific, and the Central/West Pacific. If a male isn't vibing with a small crew of females, he may start to lose his vibrant colors and turn a bit matte over time. To keep him looking fabulous, feed him a colorful, high-quality diet packed with pigments.
 
Bare bones must know: Live-rock fish-only system, or reef aquarium. Known to be super sensitive during transport and acclimation. Thick, sandy substrate required.
