Melon Butterflyfish

Snapshot: A dreamy lavender body with bold purple stripes, melon-coloured flashes and a signature dark eye-bar. Finished with a striking dark spot, this is one seriously cool fish!
 
Other tidbits: Can grow up to 15cm or so. Distributed throughout the East Indian Ocean, West Indian Ocean, Australia, Indonesia, East Pacific, Central/West Pacific Ocean.
 
Bare bones must know: Live-rock fish-only system, or reef system with care. Mature and well established aquariums only. Stable, top-notch water quality.
