Timor Wrasse
Snapshot: From light blues to rich greens, its body is adorned with pops of orange and sporadic black specks. As they mature, their colors mellow out.
Other tidbits: Can grow up to 12cm or so. Native to the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific region.
Bare bones must know: Live-rock fish only systems or reef aquariums. Thick, sandy substrate.
Aquarium set-up: Create the ultimate hide-and-seek playground for your Timor Wrasses by stocking up on live rock — perfect for both hiding and grazing antics. These sand sleepers have a soft spot for a deep, cushy bed of sand, so don't skimp on the substrate. Don't forget a lid to keep them from jumping. Maintain an aquatic utopia by nailing the basics: rock-solid water quality with top-notch filtration and routine partial water changes.
Feeding: Keep your Wrasse in top form with a gourmet diet of vitamin-enriched frozen mysis and brine shrimp, alongside high-quality marine flakes and pellets.
AQT note: All our fish feast on a diet of seaweed, marine pellets, flakes and frozen treats under our care. Keep the feast going in your tank!
